One Light, One Bond, One Big Step Forward

Saga had just graduated from high school, and there was no better way to mark the moment than with her best four-legged friend by her side.

These portraits were taken in Pålsboda, where her horse lives. It was my first time working with a horse — and also the first time I pulled out the AD600. Despite that, this entire shoot was done with just one light, keeping things simple and soft to match the setting.

The connection between Saga and her horse was undeniable, and it made the session feel less like a shoot and more like a quiet celebration. Even the grass cooperated.

More portraits like this are always welcome — especially when the bond between subject and animal runs this deep.
